A very successful couple of weeks with Tekno RC Team drivers winning around the world once again! Mike Murphy Jr, Damien Westfall, Wil Alameida, Seth VanDalen, Keith Hadley, John Bernard Jr, Gerhard du Toit and Jonathan Yeung stepped on the top spot of the podium in USA, Namibia and China, congrats everyone!
The 1/10th 4WD class has been around for roughly three decades. Generally considered an advanced and expensive racing class to run, it hasn’t enjoyed the same popularity as its 2WD counterpart. Aside from being somewhat delicate, batteries and motors struggled to keep up with the added weight associated with powering the front wheels.
We’re all excited for the launch of the new Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4wd Buggy. It’s just around the corner and should be shipping to customers, dealers, and distributors by the end of September. In the meantime, we’ll be releasing more information in a 3-part article series that delves into some of the design features and philosophy.
CV axles are now available for the EB48.4 and NB48.4 competition buggies. The .4 CVA’s have been redesigned with an oversized ball joint to reduce wear, resulting in improved consistency.
