Tekno RC Sweeps 2017 Northwest Championship Tour!

The 2017 edition of the Northwest Championship Tour (NCT) was a huge success and proved that outdoor off-road racing is alive and well in the Pacific NW. The six race series visited six different tracks all across the region and drew an astonishing average of 296 entries per event! The NCT utilizes a best 4 out of 6 format and Tekno RC would be well represented with team drivers taking home 4 championship titles:

Pro4 SCT: Derek “The Speed” Rasheed would capture his first NCT title in the Pro4 SCT class with his Tekno SCT410.3 by taking 3 race wins in the 4 races he attended!

Electric 1/8 Truggy: Tekno young gun Cole Cullings garnered his first race win at round #6 in Pasco, WA with his ET48.3 and wrapped up his first championship! Teammates Jason Walters, Ben Evans and Jesse Munn would also pilot their Tekno’s to victory throughout the season as the team combined for 4 race wins.

Nitro Buggy: Keith Hadley had a great season with his Blok powered NB48.4 by taking 3 class wins and finishing on the podium in each of the 6 rounds!

Electric 1/8 Buggy: Keith Hadley somehow managed to top his nitro buggy accomplishments with his Tekno EB48.4… 6 rounds, 6 TQ’s and 6 wins to cap off a remarkable season!

Big thank you to series director and RD Justin Wilde for continuing to bring NW racing to new heights. 2018 will no doubt be another great year!
