This past weekend Pegasus Hobbies played host to the 2013 JBRL Electric Series Round 3. The series has always had a huge following and the turnout was no disappointment. Tekno RC driver Chad Panek faced down the competition in both the 1/8th electric buggy class and the highly competitive Pro4 SC class.
First up was Pro4. Chad qualified 2nd overall and made a quick passed up the TQ driver on the first lap. Chad held the lead the rest of the race. His SCT410 truck was noticeably more consistent and stable than the rest of the field (check the video link). He would cruise to a well deserved victory.
Next up was 1/8th electric buggy. This class has been growing since the introduction of the Tekno RC EB48. In this race Chad once again took the lead and went on to win. Fellow Tekno RC teammate Chris Blais would take 3rd place on the podium with his EB48.
This was a great couple of wins for the Tekno RC team and we want to congratulate all our drivers for an excellent team effort. We hope to continue our winning ways as the series moves ahead.
